Queen adreena @ Stoke Sugarmill, 2005

My first time seeing Queen adreena so I was quite excited to finally witness the beautiful drunken madness. I arrive halfway through the first support band's ('Ariel x'), slot I'd seen them before so they weren't too bad, for a support band they were enough to keep me entertained. Second support band came on ('infra-sound?') who sounded alot like every 'baggy/madchester' 90's band, not my cup of tea but they did entertain the crowd at the front with their microphone stand swinging actions.
Queen adreena finally enter on stage, katie holding a bottle of wine for a few intervals in the night, & all looking as fabulous as I'd expected. Starting off with "kitty collar tight", & carrying on through old & new tracks from "medicine jar" to "pretty like drugs" to "suck", katie doing her acrobatic dancing onstage & shuffling her dress around (when she accidentally 'pops' out), crispin prancing around stage for most of the gig & comicly balancing his drink in his mouth whilst playing his guitar at one point.
Katie then treats us to a solo of "jolene", after which we get an encore of "razorblade sky", at this point katie is (I guess) drunkenly balancing on a chair luckily the audience react quicker to help her on stage than the security (standing at the back of the venue) did. Overall it was a pretty fantastic gig.
