Gary returns to Manchester again to tour for "Jagged". Support came from Rubicks who sounded like a cross between an electro meets indie band such as Ladytron meets Lush, having only caught the end of their set though & witnessing about 3 tracks.
Then having secured a nice spot at the front Gary came on looking every bit as dramatic as you'd expect even more so than the last time I caught him on tour. Opening on "A prayer for the unborn" throwing a lot of dramatic pose's throughout I'm surprised that considering the heat in the venue he could manage to!.
Playing through newer material from "Jagged" & "pure" as well a few older tracks, between songs you could witness the bizarre army of mobile phones attempting to take photos.
Coming back for 2 encores of "Are friends electric?" & "Metal" it was a fantastic performance.
